Espai 13

Espai 13 is an exhibition space at Barcelona's Joan Miró Foundation that showcases themed cycles by experimental artists. For 11 months, the cycle passes through five individual exhibition phases, each spotlighting a different artist.

The 2009/10 cycle is titled Explicit Silences. Maria GarcÌa Torres, Mayte Vieta, Sirous Namazi, Sophie Whettnall and Tom Kotik take it in turns to exhibit their works, which take different approaches towards the theme of silence.
