'Mama Medea' is on at the Romea

Mama Medea, written by Tom Lanoye, the best-known Flemish writer of his generation, offered a new look at the Euripedes classic Medea.

In this version, directed by Magda Puyo, there is also an episode from The Journey of the Argonauts by Apollonius Rhodius. Despite its classical inspiration, the play has a popular dimension and the language is colloquial.
