Saudi Arabia and its archaeological treasures

Fortified cities, palaces, sculptures, frescoes, jewellery and vessels are just some of the archaeological treasures unearthed in Saudi Arabia that we now have an opportunity to discover in the CaixaForum exhibition entitled Rutes d'Arabia.

The three hundred or so items on display, most of which have never Saudi Arabia before, show us the peninsula's various cultures, from prehistoric times to the present day, as well as the crossroads and exchanges that have influenced Arab civilisation.
