Tomoko Sawada at the Miró Foundation

"Identities" is the exhibition by the young artist Tomoko Sawada, shown for the first time in Barcelona, in the Kawaii!! El Japó ara, cycle at the Miró Foundation.

Sawada uses photography, in particular self-portraits, to talk of the young people in her country. The photographer concentrates on aspects such as the form of dressing, and has no problem in transforming herself as one of the currently fashionable Gothic Lolitas, or disguising herself as one of the cosplays linked to manga gatherings and festivals.
