Varekai (Cirque du Soleil's)

A naive and vulnerable Icarus has fallen from heaven, tumbling into the depths of a forest full of fantastic creatures.

The Cirque du Soleil's latest show in Barcelona takes us into a kaleidoscopic world at the summit of a volcano, the setting for a wonderful, illogical adventure.

Fusing theatre and acrobatics, under the title Varekai (meaning "wherever" in the Romany language), the Canadian company founded in 1984 pays tribute to the nomadic spirit traditionally associated with the world of the circus.
