Technical experimentation, a critical review of art history and social critique characterise artistic creation from this period, not just in painting but in other disciplines too, such as the cinema. This can be seen in the selection of films by directors like Joaquim Jord, Juan Antonio Nieves Conde and Frederic Roussif that complement the exhibition.
